1. Mount the rack into the 19-inch cabinet frame and secure all four rack units; provide rear access for bus and supply cabling.
2. Install I/O modules into slots 1–16; each slot's earth bar must be bonded via the Faston connector.
3. Connect the EA-bus flat cable (BV 7032) between the central rack and the F 7553 coupling module; total bus length must not exceed 30 m.
4. Wire 24 V DC system supply to the EL+/L+ terminals and return to L-/GND potential distributors; use the prescribed wire cross-sections (min. 2 × 2.5 mm² for L- to the central bus bar).
5. If using F 7133 power distribution modules, insert them into slots 18–21 and verify fuse monitoring contacts; jumper the fault contact of any empty distribution slot.
